I just designed the cover for my friend Jacob's new book which was a really fun project. The cover needed to be black and white and other than that I had total freedom. I submitted a few options, and this is the cover the publisher picked:

I just designed this poster for my friend Greg over at Seattle's Vital 5 Productions for their Arbitrary Art Grant program and the subsequent exhibition at Bumbershoot in September.



I designed this hand for the poster, which I like, but it didn't quite fit the scheme.

I am participating in the Canvas Project which will be shown in the Atlanta Airport's Atrium Gallery. The show runs from July 31st - Sept 4th. I was given four random words to illustrate and some small 3"x3" canvasses. Here's what I came up with, all on paper mounted to canvass.

I have a piece in a Spinal Tap tribute show. It was supposed to be in a gallery here in LA, but they ended up just posting it online which was a disappointment. you really need to see this one in person. bummer.

For those of you in the Seattle area, I've got a couple of pieces in the annual Capitol Hill Watercolor Society show at Cafe Racer in the U District. The theme is "Paranormal," and the opening is this Thursday the 9th from 7-9. I've never been to Racer before but I hear it's swingin and the show I'm sure will be great!


In Seattle I've also got a little something over at Nancy in Belltown for the Late Night Fashion Club. It's also Nancy's 3rd year anniversary! Help them celebrate on Fri from 6-9
