I've been working on some new pieces for a show at the Integratron in Landers, CA.

The Integratron is the creation of George Van Tassel, and is based on the design of Moses' Tabernacle, the writings of Nikola Tesla, and telepathic directions from extraterrestrials. It is located on a vortex and is supposed to be a rejuvenation, time machine, and sound chamber all in one.

These pieces were inspired by the Integratron and the idea of rejuvination and spring. The exhibit (which will be inside the dome) will be a part of the Venus Rising event at the Integratron which will take place Sat the 21st from 3-9pm.

I had a piece in the New York Times Week in Review last weekend. The article was about Bernie Madoff, justice, and Dante's ninth level of hell. Read the article here.

The illustration needed to have a chart of the 9 levels of hell. Here's my sketch for the final illustration.

I did a mock-up of an idea, but it was too abstract for the article. I like it though and might end up using it for something else.

Here's my book review piece which will be in tomorrow's New York Times. The book, which is about a dysfunctional family in Denmark, is described as "bleak" and "gritty." I made a point to use the Denmark flag colors, and a reference to the family tree, but ultimately this is a mood piece. I hope you like it!

You can read the article here.

Finally I'm posting my Valentines Day piece, although it's not very Valentiney. I was thinking about marriage and the lust for material objects over love.

While in New York, I got a job for the New York Times book review. I scrounged up some art supplies and managed to take over the table in my friends Brooklyn apartment.

I'll post the finnished piece in a couple of days.

The 3x3 Annual came in the mail today! My 4 bronze medal pieces are in the corner, but I'm excited to be across the page from the beautiful work of Ms. Lynn Baik. I remember working along side her in the print studio, and she was always working on something amazing.

Buy your copy of 3x3 on newsstands and, as these are hot off the presses, hopefully their website will offer them up soon: www.3x3mag.com/books2.asp

I graduated from Art Center College of Design! Here are some pics from my grad wall.

Paul Rogers and Brian Rea put together this great instillation in the Art Center gallery. It's all from an "op-ed" class and most work is unpublished. I've got a bunch of pieces mixed in there, and it will be up for the next 3 months.
